Georgia BEACON User Roles

Georgia

Administrators, teachers, and students may notice some similarities between GA Milestones and DRC BEACON. Both make use of the DRC INSIGHT test engine and the DRC INSIGHT Portal test management system. If you have used DRC INSIGHT Portal to manage GA Milestones users, test sessions, students, and results, you will already be familiar with these tasks for DRC BEACON.

Managing Users - GA Milestones vs. DRC BEACON

The main difference between GA Milestones and DRC BEACON with respect to managing users is that DRC BEACON includes an additional Teacher User role. Teachers can perform many of the same functions as School Test Coordinators for DRC BEACON.
