Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) websites are directed to and intended for U.S. residents only. This Privacy Policy is effective April 23, 2021, and applies to all information, including personal information that DRC obtains in-person or when users visit DRC websites.

Protecting privacy is not new to DRC. DRC has a long history of recognizing and protecting the privacy of user and client information. DRC is committed to protecting your privacy and utilizing technology that gives you the safest and most powerful online experience available. Collection of Personal Information

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

When you submit personal information to DRC, you understand and agree that DRC may access, store, and use your personal information. Information you provide will be safeguarded according to our company’s strict standards of security and confidentiality. DRC may use the information collected about you for the purposes of:

You shall have the right, upon verifiable request, to request that DRC disclose to you the personal information DRC collects, uses, discloses, and sells about you (“Request to Know”). You shall also have the right, upon verifiable request, to request that DRC delete any of your personal information that is collected and maintained by DRC (“Request to Delete”). DRC will not discriminate against you if you choose to exercise these rights.

A dedicated DRC team member will work with you to verify and process your request. Verification of the request may require you to provide DRC with personal information matching the personal information DRC collects as described under Collection of Personal Information above. You may designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf by sending written materials demonstrating that the authorized agent has been granted power of attorney to PrivacySupport@datarecognitioncorp.com.

DRC will process your Request to Know or Request to Delete unless DRC is required to keep the personal information for the purposes of complying with any applicable federal or state laws.

Collection of Other Information

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.

Security of Information

Security measures are in place on DRC websites to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. DRC offers industry-standard security measures available through your Web browser. Please remember that e-mail is not secure. Therefore, DRC asks that you do not send confidential information such as social security or account numbers to us via an unsecured e-mail message. Send confidential information to us via U.S. mail or phone.

We take steps to require that our vendors, consultants, suppliers, and contractors observe our Privacy Policy with respect to security and the collection, use, and exchange of our customers’ information. They are expected to abide by the Privacy Policy when conducting work for us. 

Reporting Issues or Concerns

If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability in a DRC product or service, or have a security incident to report, please use one of the methods listed under Contacting DRC to report it to DRC. DRC service representatives are trained to answer questions about any vulnerability concerns. DRC is committed to keeping our systems safe and secure and we address vulnerabilities as soon as possible after they are found.

Correct/Update/Access

DRC is committed to ensuring that the information we obtain and use is accurate. You can help us maintain accurate records by informing us of changes or modifications to your personal information using one of the methods listed under Contacting DRC. DRC service representatives are trained to answer questions about, and give you reasonable access to, your personal information in our database. 

Children Visiting Our Web Site

DRC websites are directed at adults. DRC does not knowingly collect or use information from children. Should children access DRC websites, DRC is confident that parents will not judge any of the information provided as objectionable for viewing. If you are under 18, you may use DRC websites only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

DRC is not responsible for the content or information practices employed by other websites that are linked to or from DRC websites. In most cases, links to other websites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of this DRC websites.

Enforcement

Periodically, DRC operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing the confidentiality of information. These reviews are conducted by internal staff, internal auditors who report directly to DRC Directors, external auditing and accounting firms, and government regulators. Included in these self-assessments and examinations are reviews of the controls and safeguards related to consumer privacy described in the DRC Privacy Policy.

By using DRC websites, you consent to the posted DRC Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use DRC websites. DRC reserves the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time. Your continued use of DRC websites following the posting of changes to these terms means that you accept these changes.
